As an alternative to the Shakespeare marathon which had run its course in 2 years, our Insitute has launched a new series of screenings. The subject is again literary: we will deal with adaptations (of novels in most cases), and the first one is a version of Gulliver’s travels from 1996 (dir. Charles Sturridge). There will be a short Hungarian introduction by Professor Gabriella Hartvig, but the movie will be in English with Hungarian subs.

The event starts at 18:00 on 2 October, and the venue is the usual, the “House of Arts and Literature / Művészetek és irodalom háza” .
